Examples of Bad & Good Book Covers:

The 10 Worst Book Covers In The History Of Literature BAD!
This book cover has a lot of stuff going on at once that you can't really tell what to focus on. On top of that, the font style and color coordination is way off. It confuses the reader and makes them not so interested in reading this book; for example, me.

WitchlightBAD!
I don't really like this cover either because it has a lot of colors and the colors are not really coordinated. For example, the title. The first letter in the title above is blending in the with the background image and does not look so professional. Also, pictures on the cover could definitely use some help.

GOOD!
This book cover would be an example of a good cover because it is very simple and delicate. The title is "Short Girls" and it has a girls leg in tip toe way representing that the shirt is short. I actually like it and this makes it look professional and that the work is fully done and published. Also, it motivates the reader to read the book because of that simplicity; creates a mystery.

I Was a DancerGOOD!
Same thing goes for this book cover above. It is simple and delicate looking that perfectly goes with the title. The colors are used well and represented in a good manner. Shows the reader what they are about to read about to interest them more facts about the dancing career of someone.
